Arthur “Wes” Larson, born in Bremerton and raised in Silverdale, is an attorney with over 25 years of experience in international banking, real estate acquisition, investment and development. At Bank Austria New York and Vienna in the nineties, Wes managed a $1 Billion credit portfolio as the European Desk Manager (in charge of lending to subsidiaries of European companies in the US).
Since returning to the Pacific Northwest, Larson has practiced law with a focus on real estate transactions, and has been a developer for his own account as well as working with various partners on over 50 projects in Kitsap County as well as in Seattle. Wes founded Sound West Group together with Mike Brown in 2010, and has been managing principal and chief executive officer for the group, which is engaged in development, construction and management of commercial real estate with a focus in the west Puget Sound market. Sound West ranks today as one of the largest developers in the west sound, and manages over 500,000 square feet of commercial properties. The group is currently in development of over 350 apartment units, 128 single family homes, as well as various other commercial projects with a total transaction value of over $140M.
Wes graduated from the University of Washington in 1985, BA, Phi Beta Kappa, German Language. He received his MBA in International Business from the American Graduate School of International Management (1989), and Juris Doctor from Seattle University (2001). Wes was an adjunct professor of Environmental and Land Use Law at Seattle University School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (2002-04). He is active in a number of non profit and charitable organizations and serves on the board for the Great Peninsula Conservancy.
